Accommodation in Mylor is very popular as it is one of most sought after villages in South Cornwall, situated amongst the tree lined creeks and rivers of the Fal this friendly village has a thriving community with great facilities including an extremely well stocked general store, butcher, fishmonger, newsagent, post office and a traditional village pub. The famous 13th century Pandora Inn at Restronguet serves excellent food including a carvery on Sundays.
Mylor Yacht Harbour is a lovely walk minutes from the village, this bustling marina has a wonderful café serving fresh food (great breakfasts!) and ‘Castaways’ a Seafood restaurant and Tapas bar both of which are dog friendly. Visitors have plenty of chance to get on the water here with self-drive boat hire to gently chug up the river, yacht charter and sailing school as well as a watersports centre providing canoe and stand-up paddle board hire.
The area has some stunning coastal walks to take in the stunning and relaxing scenery, there is also plenty of wildlife to spot including cormorants, dolphins, seals and herons, the walk to nearby Flushing even has a watering hole at either end!
Mylor is well located to explore all of Cornwall, the harbour town of Falmouth is nearby away and Truro is a 20 minute drive away.
