A tranquil apartment in a beautiful and prestigious complex, 5 West benefits from views of the sea from the balcony while the bustling harbour town of Falmouth and the sandy beaches are both just a short walk away.

5 West is a lovely, modern apartment boasting stunning sea views set amongst a beautiful and prestigious complex in the centre of Falmouth. With the town and local beaches just a short walk away, there’s always something to fill the time and somewhere new to explore. The modern interiors and soft, welcoming furnishings throughout the property, create an inviting and relaxing space to wind down and take a break.

With lift access up to this third-floor apartment, all guests can experience an amazing break in this property and soak up the sea views it perfectly frames from the windows and balcony. Stepping into the apartment, a light, bright hallway welcomes guests with light wooden flooring and crisp white walls. Glass double doors enable light from the main living area to flood this space, making it bright and airy.

The main living area is large and open plan and comprises of the sitting area, dining area and kitchen. With numerous large windows and the double doors to balcony, this whole space is flooded with natural light, making it a tranquil and restful setting.  The vaulted ceiling with exposed joists adds character and height to this already large room and guests can easily get comfortable and enjoy spending time in here. The large, blue corner sofa is an inviting place for guests to put their feet up after a long day of exploring and a flat-screen TV means they can easily keep up with the favourite shows or enjoy a movie. There is ample space for all four guests to get together here and enjoy an evening of games or plan ahead for the upcoming days.

The kitchen area comprises of all the necessary requirements for cooking delicious food, and with all the local produce practically on the doorstep, guests can enjoy spending time here. A gas hob, electric oven, fridge, freezer and microwave are all on offer for guests to experiment with ingredients and a dishwasher is at hand so that no one is left to do the clearing up at the end. The kitchen itself is modern and the terracotta backsplash is a subtle use of colour adding a sense of warmth and cosiness to the space. From the kitchen, guests can easily watch over others, whether they’re enjoying the food at the table or lounging on the sofa, and so it remains an incredibly social place.

The dining area is positioned directly in front of the balcony and so makes the most of the stunning coastal backdrop. This area is superb for spending time together as the cool summer evenings draw to a close and the large wooden table with six chairs means there’s ample room for everyone. The balcony is a good size and is ideal for taking some time out to enjoy the calming coastal sounds. Morning coffee would be perfect out here as the sun gently rises over the water and the surrounding town comes to life. Equally evening drinks could be enjoyed here, ensuring all of the Cornish sun is enjoyed.

The bedrooms and bathrooms are located to the other side of the apartment and are both exquisitely decorated with crisp whites and calming greys. These rooms are a space to relax and rest, and have been cleverly designed to ensure guests experience just that! The master bedroom comes complete with a super-king-size bed and the crisp white bed linen is inviting for anyone wanting to wind down at the end of a long day. The large window provides lots of natural light meaning waking up in here can be easy and there’s plenty of storage for guests to hide away their luggage.

The master bedroom also features a modern ensuite shower room, which is bright and clean with floor to ceiling white tiles and chequered flooring. This is a wonderful room to enjoy a refreshing shower in the morning ahead of the day. There is also a WC and hand basin.

The second bedroom features two single beds, which can be linked to form a king-size if needed. Again, a chest of drawers and bedside table ensure there is plenty of space for belongings and the subtle nautical theme is a pleasant reminder of the fabulous location of the property.

The family bathroom is an excellent size and mirrors the decor of the ensuite. Here, a bath provides guests with the opportunity to take some time out and enjoy a hot soak in the peace and quiet. There is also a WC and hand basin.

Guests at 5 West benefit from the use of a private garage, however some bigger vehicles such as 4x4s and SUVs may not fit, and these can instead be parked free of charge on the road just outside the development where there are no restrictions.

With Falmouth town centre right on the doorstep, there’s plenty to see and do. Guests can just take a short stroll to Events Square where the famous oyster festival takes place in October each year. Or head to Rick Stein’s for champagne and oysters. Falmouth has an abundance of boutique shops, art galleries and restaurants and the famous Maritime Museum.

With one of the deepest natural harbours on the doorstep, Falmouth Harbour, guests can easily take to the water, with a fantastic range of ways to explore the beautiful surroundings; with private boat hire, canoe rental and sailing lessons and trips. Stand-up paddleboards also provide a fun way to enjoy this area of outstanding natural beauty. Local sea ferries run frequently from the piers within the town centre and provide guests with the prospect of a day out in the surrounding neighbouring villages of Flushing and St Mawes.

5 West provides everything guests will need to experience a memorable Cornish holiday all within a peaceful and tranquil setting!
