EndcliffeEndcliffe occupies one of the very finest south facing seafront locations in Falmouth. It is widely acknowledged to be one of the most highly specified developments to have ever been built in Falmouth.
Just a short walk from town, the south facing apartment has its own parking space and sits in a private development of seven contemporary properties.
As soon as you walk into the living room you’re struck by the floor to ceiling glass windows facing onto the beach. It feels as if you are almost on Gylly’s golden sands.
Stand on your balcony from your vantage point on the second floor and you’ll be struck by 180-degree water views from Pendennis Castle across the bay to the Manacles.
The open-plan living room is light, airy and tastefully decorated with bright, modern furniture and appliances.
If you feel like cooking you have a fully equipped Neff kitchen, including a dishwasher and a double oven. Though if messing about in the kitchen isn’t on your list of things to do, the town is just a 10-minute walk away, where you’re spoilt for choice for eateries and cafes, including Rick Stein’s newest seafood restaurant and delicatessen.
Gylly Beach, or Gyllyngvase Beach as it’s officially called, is an easy going blue flag beach ideal for families. There’s a school for coasteering, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding. And it has an award-winning café, specializing in fresh local produce from the sea. So you can always stroll down for a casual bite.
There are two double sized bedrooms, a master bedroom with King size bed and an ensuite bathroom, and a twin bedroom with two single beds. The master bedroom leads onto the balcony so you can enjoy the sea view day and night.
Both bathrooms are both accessible from the entrance hall. The ensuite has a bath and shower, and the main bathroom near the entrance has a walk in rainfall shower, ideal for when you’re covered in sand from the beach. Take a look at the pictures and you’ll see the décor is modern and natural with recessed alcoves for your toiletries.
There’s also under floor heating, so if the weather turns in the evening you can pad barefoot on warm engineered oak flooring.
As apartments go this is a firm favourite, giving you a sense of the ocean outside and every home comfort, from a large Freeview TV to Corian worktops. Dining opposite the ‘wall of glass’ with the doors open also has a distinctly al-fresco feel.
We should also mention there’s a lift, as well as stairs. Unfortunately we’re unable to accommodate children under 6 years of age at this property.
