Gone SailingLocated at the popular Pier Apartments in the very heart of Falmouth town centre, this one-bedroom property is the perfect romantic retreat for couples.
The development itself is located on the second floor, Gone Sailing has a private entrance hall with further steps up to the apartment itself. The open plan living area is flooded with light thanks to the large window and high ceiling. A comfortable leather sofa, TV and DVD player provide entertainment while the whole apartment is kept warm in all weathers by efficient underfloor heating.
The small but perfectly formed kitchen is well equipped for self-catering with a slimline dishwasher, oven and hob, and combination washing machine and tumble dryer.
The fully tiled bathroom has a large walk in shower, heated towel rail, basin and wc.
The bedroom with double bed has plenty of storage with a chest of drawers and wardrobe – quality bed linen and towels are provided.
Boats and Ferries sail directly from the Pier outside the front door to St Mawes, Flushing, Truro and Trellisick Gardens. Coastal walks and several beautiful Cornish gardens are within easy driving distance with the dramatic coastline of the north coast only slightly further away.
Guests are advised that this is a second floor apartment accessed via a staircase and is therefore unsuitable for those with restricted mobility. The convenient town centre location does mean that on occasion some background noise may be audible.
Although Gone Sailing does not have dedicated parking on site we advise guests to use the nearby Quarry car park, which is a 5 minute walk from the apartment – tickets are available to purchase via the pay by mobile system on arrival at £38.50 for the week. Alternatively a County Wide Rover Ticket can be purchased for £47.50 which allows you to park in most Cornwall Council long stay car parks – more details on this option can be found here.

A compact apartment in the centre of Falmouth with easy access to all amenities. It is well equipped and the flowers plus saffron buns were much appreciated.
The apartment was clean and comfortable. We very much enjoyed our stay.
