A boutique 1 bedroom apartment, newly renovated to a luxury standard with the benefit of a balcony. Situated just off the quayside in Penryn, it is perfect for couples and has a reserved parking space on the quay a few steps away.
Description

Anchor Quay is a modern complex of apartments and is a real treat for guests looking to get away from their busy lives. Located in the bustling town of Penryn a short distance from Falmouth and Truro, No.6 Anchor Quay is a superbly finished one bedroom apartment set on the third floor. The clean and modern interior of the property makes the apartment feel tranquil and relaxing and the large bi-fold doors onto the balcony ensure guests don’t miss out on experiencing a Cornish summer evening.

Upon entering the property, the wooden floors and light grey walls make the space feel warm and welcoming. To the left of the front door, there is a large cupboard space, perfect for guests to hide away their luggage bags and escape any clutter. To the left of the entrance hall is the main living/dining/kitchen area. This is a beautiful room, full of natural light from the large bi-fold doors. It’s a perfect space to sit back and relax, on the sofa with a good movie or enjoy a wonderful meal indoors or on the balcony.

There are several lamps within this space enabling the room to change the mood from day to night and the different textures from the soft furnishings make it cosy and comfortable. There are distinct zones within this living area and each has been beautifully thought out and designed. The clean white cabinets in the kitchen area reflect the light from the balcony doors. Cook up a delicious meal for your loved one, whilst they relax at the table and then retire to the balcony for a drink and watch the sunset.

To the right of the front door is the bedroom with a double bed. This room has views over to Jubilee Wharf where guests can enjoy a wonderful tapas meal at the popular Muddy Beach Cafe, less than a minute walk away. The bedroom is an excellent size, and again, the clean and modern decor is warm and welcoming. Throughout the apartment, there are subtle nods to its nautical setting with some beautiful sea-life prints from a local artist. The feature wall in the bedroom is a stunning depiction of the blueprints of ships and a really interesting backdrop within this room. There is also a large inbuilt wardrobe.

The bathroom is an excellent size with an overhead shower, W/C, basin and heated towel rail to ensure guests have a truly relaxing experience.

No. 6 is just a short walk from the centre of Penryn, with a selection of local shops and pubs. Just a short drive over to Falmouth where there is an array of wonderful restaurants, galleries and shops. With one of the deepest natural harbours, Falmouth Harbour, guests can easily take to the water, with a fantastic range of ways to explore the breathtaking surroundings; with private boat hire, canoe rental and sailing lessons and trips. Stand-up paddle boards also provide a fun way to enjoy this area of outstanding natural beauty. There are excellent transport links to Truro and ferries over to the quaint harbour towns of St Mawes and Flushing.
