The lounge is positioned at the front of the property and takes full advantage of one of the large, square-framed windows. The solid oak floor with underfloor heating is cosy, and a traditional touch that compliments the crisp white walls and high ceilings. This room has stunning red furniture comprising of two large sofas, each of which face a stunning, free-standing log burner. This room is modern and contemporary, with subtle lighting fixtures and no fuss – it’s inviting and refreshing. On a cool evening, guests could happily sit back and relax on the sofas, listening to the roaring fire and watching their favourite movie on the TV.

We have just arrived home after a wonderful holiday in Flushing. The cottage was beautiful, immaculately laid out and a true home from home. It was such a pleasure to stay there and our two boys didn’t want to leave. Flushing is a beautiful, quintessential Cornish village with such a homely feel. We didn’t get a chance to write in the visitors book so thought we’d better let you know that given the chance we will be booking here again. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough – please do let the owner know that it was a pleasure staying there and thank you for such a wonderful stay.

 The Wilson-Every’s

We loved our peaceful and relaxing stay here. Everything is exactly as you can see in the pictures provided by the owner. The cottage features all the newest and fanciest equipment (induction cooker, microwave, a huge walk in shower which is controlled from inside as well from the outside via a blue LED switch – very neat – etc. etc. Everything is spotlessly clean. The bed was extremely comfy – we slept fabulously. The secluded terraced garden is just lovely. Flushing is a beautiful little village with 2 Pubs and an exceptionally good seafood restaurant (we had one of the best seafood dinners ever!). We will definitely come back.

The property has been refurbished to high specification, loved the village and everyone was very friendly – a great break, thank you!
