Pendeen is a large house sleeping up to 9 perched above the Penryn river with stunning views across the water towards Falmouth that will appeal to families and friends looking for a luxury holiday home.

Located in the centre of Flushing village with the pubs and restaurants a short stroll away, and with parking for 3 cars, guests are assured a hassle free stay.

This five-bedroom period property has everything required to provide a comfortable and elegant stay for groups of up to 9. Whether as an extended family or a large group of friends, you and your housemates are sure to enjoy a relaxing and fun-filled stay when you book this property. The house was originally built in the 1800’s, and has been recently modernised to maximise on the spectacular views whilst bringing a touch of coastal style.

On the ground floor you’ll find a cosy living room with plenty of seating, and TV with DVD player.  The impressive hallway leads through to the reading room with a huge picture window enjoying views of the boats travelling up and down the river – this is a very special room in which to relax and guests will find it hard to leave here whatever the weather!

The dining room has a wonderful coastal feel with its light blue walls and patio doors which beg to be thrown open to allow the sights and sound of the sea in, for cooler evenings this room has a woodburning stove.

The modern kitchen with granite topped island is a very light space due to the vaulted ceiling with velux windows and not one but two sets of patio doors leading out onto the south facing terrace. The kitchen comes very well equipped with a double oven and electric hob, microwave, dishwasher, and large fridge with separate freezer, there is also a laundry cupboard complete with washing machine and tumble dryer. When walking into the kitchen you cannot help but be drawn to the French doors and onto the slate paved patio which gives you 180° views of the river; a perfect accompaniment to a relaxing group meal. Leading down from the patio is a lower area with sun loungers, perfect for those looking to retreat for a while

Also on the ground floor, hidden under the stairs, is a convenient WC.

On the first floor you’ll find a huge master bedroom with ensuite shower room – 2 sets of picture windows provide you with unbeatable views of the water. The comfortable super-king bed is truly a special place to wake up! 

Also on the first floor are three further bedrooms: one a double with water views, a further double, and one room featuring twin single beds. Each of the bedrooms is individually styled to an extremely high standard, and furnished with items that perfectly complement the property’s style.

The family bathroom on the first floor provides plenty of space, and features a large bath with shower over, and a WC.

At the top of the house on the second floor you will find the final bedroom, complete with single bed and an additional daybed. With bean bags, TV and a DVD player, this room also doubles up as a great playroom for children.

A maximum of 2 well behaved dogs are welcome.

Pendeen is perfectly located to allow you easy access to Falmouth either by car or on the regular passenger ferry which travels from the nearby Quay.  A network of ferries also travel from Falmouth to St Mawes and Truro, water taxis to beautifully located pubs, scenic coastal paths, and wonderful subtropical gardens. Flushing is centrally located making it easy for you to explore much further afield if you are feeling adventurous!
