With clean white cupboards and a dark wood effect worktop, this space is perfect for cooking up a delicious meal for loved ones. The breakfast bar is the perfect social addition, enabling guests to enjoy a morning coffee and plan the day ahead as breakfast is made. There is also an oven and hob, microwave and dishwasher.
Also within the main living space is a really good size dining area with a large table and benches. Guests can really make the most of this space, sharing breakfast or a delicious meal and spend some quality time together. the wood table and benches are in keeping with the modern simplicity of the property and a free-standing lamp enables guests to mix up the lighting and create a cosy atmosphere for an evening meal.
The lounge area of the room makes the most of the two windows overlooking the fabulous bowling green below. Light floods into this space and creates an inviting and tranquil seating area. Guests can fully relax on the large sofa and put their feet up to watch a movie together on the wall mounted TV. There is also a beautiful, Scandinavian style armchair which is the ideal spot to relax in front of a good book.
The master bedroom boasts a king size bed with crisp white bed linen ensuring guests have a truly restful night sleep. The colour scheme within this room mimics that of the rest of the property, with neutral wall colours and subtle hints of pale green. This room is restful and calming. The window takes in more of the views of the bowling green and with bedside lamps on both sides of the bed, guests can cosy down with a book before switching off for the night. There is a large built-in wardrobe in this room so guests have plenty of storage space to pack away their luggage.
The second bedroom features a double bed and is another tranquil and inviting room. The white bed linen teamed with the subtle green hues of the feature wall and soft furnishings emphasize the calmness and serenity of the room and the chest of drawers enables guests to store any luggage.
The family bathroom is within close proximity to the bedrooms and is a clean and bright space. Floor to ceiling tiles adds texture and warmth and the modern suite and fittings are inviting. There is a bath with an overhead shower so guests can have the best of both worlds and awaken to a refreshing shower and relax in a hot bath at the end of the day. There is also a WC and hand basin.
The Coach House also benefits from a secluded decking area with a wooden patio table and chairs. Accessed by a small flight of stairs to the right of the front door, this area is just ideal to soak in the Cornish summer sun and enjoy a cream tea in the peace and quiet. Or guests could easily dine alfresco on a warm summer’s evening.
Guests can stop outside to load / unload while nearby Tregenver Road has plenty of free unrestricted parking
Just a fifteen-minute stroll from The Coach House, guests will find themselves in Falmouth town centre, complete with an array of boutique shops and restaurants. Guests can enjoy a romantic meal at a number of restaurants and then enjoy a short stroll back. Or simply head across to Gylly Cafe and enjoy a meal alfresco, making the most of the sea views. Falmouth has excellent travel connections to Truro via train, with stations at the docks and the town centre. Or guests could jump aboard the sea ferry and spend a day exploring the nearby fishing villages of Flushing and St Mawes. If a more action-packed holiday is on the cards, then the nearby Gylly beach, or Gyllyngvase Beach as its formally known, has a wide selection of water sports activities to keep guests entertained, and Queen Mary Gardens is a wonderful sub-tropical haven.
