Sleeps five in comfort and style
This lovely detached cottage has been recently updated to create a wonderful property that sleeps five (MAXIMUM 4 ADULTS) in comfort and style. The Cottage’s south-facing gardens provide a haven of calm in which you can socialise or soak up some sun when it’s warm, while the fireplace inside this period property makes for a great place to snuggle up and enjoy a cosy evening or two indoors.
Inside the porch you’ll find ample space for coats and boots, as well as a useful utility area complete with full height fridge-freezer and separate washing machine and tumble dryer. There’s also a newly installed shower room with large corner shower, heated towel rail, and WC – perfect for when you all come back from the beach covered in sand!
Charming and provides everything you need
The Cottage kitchen is beautiful, offering everything a budding chef needs to cook up a veritable feast of local dishes, yet blending in perfectly with the cottage charm. You’ll find wooden worktops and a central island for food preparation, while the large oven and dishwasher will take care of all the chores for you. The first thing to catch your attention upon entering The Cottage’s sitting room is the charming window seat, in which you can while away the hours staring out into the garden in peace and serenity. There’s also a dining table for six, slate floors, and a comfortable study area that features a small desk, an armchair, and WiFi access for emailing, updating social networks, and generally letting everyone know what a wonderful time you’re having!
The sitting room provides you with space to unwind after a long day out and about, with two comfortable sofas, a wood-burning stove, and flat screen TV. There’s plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. On the same floor you’ll find the family bathroom, complete with a deep bath for luxuriously soaking in bubbles, and a shower over for a quick freshen up.
The first floor has a coastal theme and calming neutral colour scheme to bring the soothing effect of the lazy coastal waters right into the home. The pretty master bedroom has chunky furniture, a king size bed, flat screen TV, and a window seat to give you a chance to start the day slowly and sedately with a wonderful view. Bedroom two has twin single beds, while the third bedroom has a single bed with additional slide-out mattress underneath for occasional use.
You’ll find a footpath that leads down to Cowlands Creek and the glorious creeks of the River Fal at the rear of the garden, so a refreshing countryside walk is just a few strides away.
Located in a stunning part of the county, The Cottage is a brilliant Cornish property that gives you a great base from which to explore and enjoy Cornwall. Whether you take a leisurely stroll around the gardens of Trellisick, or get your adrenaline pumping with sailing, windsurfing, Kayaking or motor boating at Looe beach, you’ll have a great time out and a great time in. Small-sized dogs are welcome so the family pooch needn’t miss out on all the fun.
There’s even an excellent pub just a few steps away. What more could you want?!

Very sadly packing up to leave! The Cottage has been ideal for us and we have had a wonderful week and don’t want to go home, but work beckons. We have been taking Phoebe out for walks along the lovely paths all so close to The Cottage and I am sure we will be back. With many thanks for your efficient service and wonderful property.
