The GigThis fabulous newly refurbished 5-star house is light and airy, with amazing views across Falmouth harbour, two luxury bedrooms sleeping four, a wood-burning stove, reserved off-road parking and WiFi.
You’ll find The Gig right in the heart of Falmouth. This prime location gives you stunning sea views across the bay to Flushing and St Mawes. The Gig was originally the gate house for the Arwenack Estate, and has been fully refurbished with no expensive spared into a stylish and comfortable holiday property, complete with allocated parking space.
You’ll find two bedrooms and a family bathroom on the ground floor. The master bedroom has views across Falmouth Bay, the harbour, and the super yachts, which you can enjoy right from the king size bed. For the ultimate lie in, open the bi-fold doors opposite to let the Cornish sea air and sunshine stream inside and watch the boats sailing by!
The second bedroom is flexible, featuring a super king double that can be made up as two single beds depending on your needs.
The stylish family bathroom is located between the two bedrooms and has wonderful views across the bay. It includes a large shower, basin, loo, and a beautiful freestanding bath.
The upstairs living area is bright and filled with natural light. It’s a great place to sit and enjoy those expansive views, and with high exposed ceilings, wooden beams and hand crafted tongue and groove panelling, the inside view is superb too! You can add to the experience of the sea views by opening the bi-fold doors and letting the cheerful sights and sounds of the coast right into the room. If you like to just sit and watch the world go by, there’s no better place to do it!
A brand new kitchen and dining area with comfortable tongue and groove seating creates a beautiful area to be sociable in. The wood-burning stove creates a warm and cosy environment so the cooler evenings need not interrupt the conversation.
The list of places worth a visit nearby The Gig is exhaustive. Just a few minutes’ walk away, you’ll find Rick Stein’s restaurant, as well as a range of other fine dining establishments, coffee shops, boutiques, galleries, pubs, the National Maritime museum, the ferry across Falmouth Bay to St.Mawes, sandy Gyllynvase beach and Pendennis Castle. The world-renowned Trebah and Glendurgan Gardens, Maenporth and Swanpool beaches, and Falmouth Golf Club are just a short drive away.
The Gig is a stunning property, ready to welcome and enthral your whole family and one small well behaved dog. You can also hire it with neighbouring sister property The Giggle, which has room for two, meaning groups of six can enjoy this wonderful space in a beautiful part of Cornwall.

Just to let you know the Gig is exactly as advertised: very smart, great location and perfect for our stay. The cleaners need to be patted on the back: absolutely everything was spotless on arrival. And we are quite fussy!

The view was out of this world! The property was of a very high standard just beautiful. Very close to shops and restaurants with a lovely, contemporary interior.
Really impressed with the property and the service we give received. As a result I would book again as I trust the company and know what to expect.

Needed a break saw the fabulous details for The Gig and decided to book without looking elsewhere. We were not disappointed!!! I guess the fact that it had a superb view really swayed us. My husband was at sea for over twenty years and much enjoyed seeing all the ship movements in and out of the docks. The wonderful view from the lounge and the central position with only a two minute walk to town makes it ideal.

My husband and I plus our 2 children stayed at The Gig, while my parents stayed at The Giggle. It could not have worked better for us. There was plenty of space in The Gig for all 6 of us to eat and be together but lovely for my parents to have their own space if they wanted to get away from the noise! Thank you.
