Turning TidesTurning Tides is a peaceful apartment located in a beautiful development. Newly renovated, it has reserved parking and the promenade, beach and all that Falmouth town has to offer are just a short walk away.
The beautiful Gyllyngdune Manor has been converted into an equally beautiful set of holiday apartments. You’ll find Turning Tides on the first floor, which can be accessed via stairs or a lift.
Upon entering, you’ll find an open-plan living room, decorated in bright modern colours. French doors lead out onto the West-facing balcony with glimpses of the nearby sea. The table and chairs allow you to breakfast in style, catch the sun all afternoon or watch great sunsets in the evening . Inside a large TV with DVD player and WiFi provides entertainment when you aren’t out exploring the stunning local area, such as the newly restored Victorian Bandstand in the Princess Pavilions gardens.
You’ll find the kitchen very well equipped with gas hob, electric oven, microwave, tall fridge, freezer and dishwasher.
Bedroom one has a king size bed and en-suite with shower, basin, and WC, while bedroom two features twin singles. Both rooms are light and wonderfully decorated with splashes of colour; There is also a spacious family bathroom which offers guests the chance to soak in the deep bath.
Turning Tides benefits from a dedicated off-road parking space and use of a basement storage room where bikes and surf boards can be kept. The communal gardens are extremely well kept with a rolling lawn on which to relax after a hard day on the beach.
The town of Falmouth, complete with its wide range of shops, pubs, restaurants and seaside sights, is just a few minutes’ walk away. The property does have an allocated parking space, although with Gyllyngvase beach just a short coastal path away, and ferries leaving Falmouth for St Mawes, Truro, and the Helford River, you could find the car feels a little left out!
