The Beaches View

The Beaches View is a beautifully presented maisonette positioned at the end of the Castle Beach promenade in Falmouth. With amazing sea views from every window, guests will find it hard to not escape and relax in this superb property. From April to September guests staying at The Beaches View also have exclusive use of a beach hut on Castle Beach just a short stroll away.

Stepping into the apartment, guests are greeted with a spacious and welcoming open plan living area. With light walls and whitewashed flooring, this space is a haven for light.

The amazing views set a backdrop to the main living area and are the focal point of this space. Framed beautifully by large, white square windows and with a pair of blue armchairs positioned in front, this area is a wonderful spot for guests to relax and unwind, overlooking the unspoilt view of the sea and around Pendennis Point, There are also two large sofas and a TV so guests can happily get comfortable and enjoy a good movie together on a quiet night in.

The kitchen area is positioned directly behind the main living space. With a half-height wall dividing these two spaces, the whole room has an amazing open plan effect, however, the spaces remain cleverly divided. The kitchen is clean and modern, with a neutral pallet. Gloss fronted units reflect all the light, and the granite worktop adds texture. This modern kitchen is a wonderful space to cook up a delicious meal to share with loved ones and with the breakfast bar area serving as a delightful spot to enjoy a morning coffee and watch the sea. There is an electric cooker and hob, microwave and dishwasher. Guests will also find a dining area within the main living space, with a table and four chairs for a family breakfast or afternoon cream tea!

Also on the first floor is a convenient washroom with a toilet and sink. There is also lift access to the lower parking area of the property found just outside the front door.

The bedrooms and family bathroom are located on the second floor of the property and accessed via a staircase positioned to the right of the front door.

The crisp and clean decor continues throughout this level, with white walls and furnishings. Both bedrooms have views over the seafront and therefore, each provides a tranquil haven for guests to relax at the end of a long day.

The master bedroom is a brilliant size, complete with king size bed and soft white bed linen. This room is bright and inviting and has ample storage space for guests to hide away their luggage with built-in overhead storage and a large chest of drawers. The master bedroom also features a lovely en-suite shower room. Fitted with a modern suite and neutral floor to ceiling tiles, it is clean, contemporary and inviting and ideal for guests who like to wind down in a hot shower before curling up in bed.

The second bedroom is fitted with two single beds and has a picture perfect view over the coast. Both bedrooms are modern and minimal, making them ideal spaces to curl up and rest and ensure guests have a wonderfully relaxing night’s sleep.

The family bathroom is a similar design to the ensuite and a really good size. After an exciting day spent at Gyllyngvase beach, guests can happily fill up a hot bath and take a moment’s peace to relax and recharge. There is also a WC, hand basin and heated towel rail for added luxury.

The Beaches View is an easy 15 minute walk from the centre of Falmouth, where an array of shops, cafe’s, restaurants and bars are sure to keep guests occupied. Ferries to Flushing, St Mawes and Truro can also be located in the centre and Falmouth train station is just a ten-minute walk away. Leave the apartment and follow the coastline in either direction. West takes you on a peaceful coastal walk to the smaller Swanpool Beach where you can rest and refuel at the cafe before continuing the coastal path that leads to Maenporth. Or head east along Pendennis Point and explore Pendennis Castle built by Henry VIII. If a more action-packed holiday is on the cards, then guests can find many water sports on offer at the local Gyllyngvase beach or Swanpool beach. Paddle boarding, surfing and kayaking are to name but a few. Once finished and in need of refreshments, guests could sample a delicious meal at Gylly Beach Cafe, or take a stroll further to Events Square and enjoy champagne and oysters at Rick Steins famous restaurant.

Set in a prime location and with plenty of activities on the doorstep, guests are guaranteed a fabulous Cornish experience and an unforgettable holiday!
