Stepping inside the apartment, guests will find the open plan living space down a small flight of stairs. This is a bright and contemporary space, with stylish furnishings and a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. The main feature of this room is the fantastic floor to ceiling window and door that leads guests out onto the balcony. The vaulted ceiling adds light and space, and means the views can be enjoyed from the bed. The sitting room area is bright and inviting with a large sofa and comfortable armchair. The bright blues add an element of fun and a stylish contrast to the neutral walls and wood floors. The flat screen TV means guests can curl up on the sofa and spend a quiet night in, sharing drinks infant of a favourite TV show or movie. Subtle, upward lighting and the wood cladded ceiling create a cosy atmosphere on those cooler evenings in.

Positioned behind the living space is the contemporary kitchen. Complete with an electric hob, oven, microwave and fridge, guests will find all they need to spend some time cooking a delicious meal for their loved one. And with plenty of local, fresh produce directly on the doorstep, it will be hard to not want to come back here and experiment with some fabulous ingredients. There are several fantastic pubs and restaurants within a five minute walk from the front door, lining the sides of the Old High Street, including the stunning Star and Garter. Offering fresh produce with fantastic accompaniments, this cosy sea side pub, complete with open fire and uninterrupted sea views is a must on the list!

If a quieter night in is on the cards, then guests can share a romantic meal at the chic dining area. With a modern table and chairs, this area is positioned to make the most of the large window and therefore enjoys stunning sunrise and sunset views. Once the sun has gone down, guests can draw the curtains and relax in a cosy and comfortable space.

An outdoor table and chairs means dining alfresco is always an option for guests wanting to enjoy more of the Cornish sun. With white walls encasing the space, this balcony is a sun trap, and the lush green foliage adds a slightly mediterranean feel.

Stepping up to the mezzanine floor, guests will find the king size bed fitted with crisp white bed linen and contrasting hints of blue. The style and feel of the large space downstairs continues up here and so the two spaces flow effortlessly. Guests can be sure to get a good night sleep and in the morning can witness the sunrise from the large window below whilst enjoying a delicious breakfast in bed. Twin bedside tables and lamps mean this space can easily become more cosy in the evenings and guests can curl up with a good book before the day is over.

The bathroom is bright and modern with a shower, WC and basin.

There is so much to see and do in Falmouth and all within a short wander from the apartment doorstep. Explore the harbour town and its many boutique shops and galleries, stopping to sample a wonderful, traditional Cornish Pasty. Or take the kids to the Maritime Museum and brush up knowledge of the history of the harbour and trade. Falmouth has an amazing selection of restaurants where guests can be spoiled for choice on where to eat. Falmouth has amazing links to the surrounding fishing villages via water ferry. Guests can take a day trip to St Mawes or Flushing, two beautifully quintessential Cornish villages with stunning views over the water. Guests could alternatively, hop on the train from the town centre station and explore Truro, Cornwall’s capital city, where a further array of shops awaits. Falmouth also has an excellent selection of beaches all offering water sport rentals, from surfboards to paddle boards, there are plenty of ways to experience this stunning coastline from the water.

Larboard is a super stylish and comfortable apartment for guests wanting an exciting and romantic getaway! The property has one allocated parking space in the underground garage just across the road – most cars will fit however very large cars or SUVs may not, and guests can also choose to park in one of the streets nearby.
