Located on the wharf at the head of the Penryn River, this spacious loft apartment is perfectly positioned to enjoy the local facilities in Penryn, the beautiful beaches of Falmouth and, of course, the exceptional sailing waters of the Fal Estuary – it’s the ideal destination for style-conscious guests who want something more than the standard traditional Cornish holiday apartment.  One small dog is permitted at this property.

Anchor Loft sleeps four guests in two luxurious bedrooms with two bathrooms and has the added benefit of private parking in a garage. The exterior of this harbourside property retains the original charm of the old warehouse fused with a high-quality contemporary interior. A former Bone Mill built in 1843, the warehouse had been derelict for years until the recent renovation brought this historic building back to life in spectacular fashion, and it has resulted in one of the highest quality developments the area has seen.

The private entrance with video security leads into a large hallway. The high ceilings and exposed stonework mix perfectly with the retained original features of this unique property. Central heating with contemporary wall-mounted radiators and engineered oak floors ensure maximum comfort at all times, and really set the scene for a truly luxurious holiday experience.

A bright hallway opens into the spacious open plan living area, the heart of the apartment, with captivating views over the head of the Penryn River. The exposed stone walls make an architectural feature of the original chimney and the lounge area has comfy sofas and a large 75″ SMART TV, while Super fast Fibre WiFi allows you to update your envious friends back home with details of your Cornish adventure.

The high-gloss kitchen has Corian worktops, plenty of storage, a tall fridge / freezer, oven, convection microwave, dishwasher and washing machine – a dining table and chairs provides everything and more that you could possibly need in a self-catering apartment, all wrapped up in the uniqueness of Anchor Loft.

The master bedroom has a king sized bed for maximum comfort, while the fully tiled en-suite spa bathroom has high-quality contemporary fittings and a large walk-in shower perfect for washing away the sand from the nearby beaches. Bed linen and towels are provided for guests.

The second bedroom has flexible arrangements and can be made up as twin single beds or a super-king double – it enjoys use of the downstairs family bathroom, again fully tiled, with a relaxing bath and ambient lighting.
