Anchor View is a stylish and contemporary two-bedroom apartment located in the gorgeous Cornish harbour town of Falmouth. Within easy walking distance of the town centre and featuring a beautiful balcony overlooking the harbour, this apartment has everything guests will need to escape to Cornwall in style – one small dog is welcome.

Located on the second floor of one of the most popular developments in the Cornish town, the property sits on the hill with 19 steps down to the allocated parking space, through a secure green door, and down one level,  and 41 steps up to the top of the High Street. For this reason, we would suggest Anchor view is not suitable for those with restricted mobility or children under 5 years.

Entering this apartment, guests are immediately drawn to the patio doors which perfectly frame the view.  You could spend hours watching the comings and goings of vessels of all sizes here in the third deepest natural harbour in the world.

The colourful scheme of Anchor View is effortlessly complimented by luxurious soft furnishings and warm wood flooring.  Spending quality time with loved ones is the top of everyone’s list of priorities when it comes to taking a holiday – Anchor View has an open plan kitchen living and dining area which is ideal for everyone to come together and make some memories.

In the living room you will find a comfortable corner sofa to relax and a further two armchairs from which to enjoy the views, guests could take a slow and restful morning, sipping fresh hot coffee and pastries from the High Street below and discuss the plans for the day ahead.

The kitchen area is located to the right of the room and is finished to a very high standard. This stylish kitchen has everything guests need to enjoy their stay and features appliances, including a single oven with electric induction hob, large fridge and separate freezer, microwave and dishwasher.  With an abundance of restaurants and bars just a walk away from the apartment, guests may find the desire to sample many of the dishes available all too tempting, but for those wanting to serve up a delicious, homemade meal for their loved ones, this kitchen is ideal.

For entertainment there is a large wall mounted SMART 50” TV and WiFi throughout – there is also full central heating making Anchor View perfect for a winter break.

The master suite is a luxurious space for guests to truly unwind and relax. The huge Super king-size bed complete with crisp white bed linen, promises guests a good night sleep ahead of another busy day. This bed can also be made up into twin singles if required. This room oozes luxury as well as fun, with stylish soft furnishings in a stunning array of textures and prints. a large built-in wardrobe and chest of drawers so guests can hide away their belongings and truly escape for the holiday.

The en-suite shower room is finished to an equally high standard, with floor to ceiling stone tiles and a large walk-in shower. There is also a WC and hand basin.

A King Size bed can be found in the second bedroom, which has a vibrant theme with a hanging rail and twin bedside tables for storage.

The family bathroom is located towards the entrance to the property so guests can easily get cleaned up from a sandy day spent at the beach. Finished to an equally high standard as the en-suite, this is a cosy and stylish place to enjoy some time alone and relax in a hot bath. Within the bathroom is also a washing machine in a utility cupboard with clothes airer.

With Falmouth town centre right on the doorstep there’s plenty to see and do. Guests can just take a short stroll to the High Street with its independent shops and cafes or continue to Events Square where the famous oyster festival takes place in October each year.

Falmouth has an abundance of restaurants, art galleries and boutique shops, and the famous Maritime Museum. With one of the deepest natural harbours on the doorstep, guests can easily take to the water, with a fantastic range of ways to explore the surroundings; with private boat hire, canoe rental and sailing lessons and trips all nearby. Stand-up paddleboards also provide a fun way to enjoy this area of outstanding natural beauty all of which are available for hire from Gyllyngvase beach.

Local ferries run frequently from the piers within the town centre and provide guests with the prospect of a day out in the surrounding neighbouring villages of Flushing and St Mawes.

The apartment comes with two allocated parking spaces in an underground car park within the development.  Please note that the parking spaces within the Packet Quays are restricted to medium sized cars. Maximum height of 1.92 m (6’3”) to approach to the top floor of parking and the allocated spot has a maximum width of 2.1 m (6’9”).  Very wide or high sided vehicles may not fit in the space. If you have a car of this size, free parking is available on nearby streets.

Anchor View lived up to its name – the views over Falmouth Harbour are stunning. The apartment is immaculately presented and clearly well cared for. It’s an ideal base for exploring Cornwall, with ferries, beaches and attractions all within easy reach. The underground parking was also very convenient.
