Description

Only a short stroll from the centre of town, Gylly Sunrise is positioned in a magical setting. Offering uninterrupted views over Gyllyngvase beach, watersports on the doorstep, a short walk to Gylly Cafe and Queen Mary Gardens, it’s guaranteed guests will never be stuck for something to do.

Upon entering this first floor apartment guests are welcomed by a wonderfully light, bright hallway that accesses every room. The heart of the apartment is a wonderful, open plan living, dining and kitchen area with draw dropping views of the sandy beach.  Sit back and relax in the living room, making the most of the view from the sofas or enjoy a glass of wine out on the balcony and watch the sun go down behind the water. The stunning 180-degree water view from Pendennis Castle across the bay to the Manacles is ever changing and its the perfect way to wind down after a day exploring Falmouth.

The fully equipped kitchen area is the perfect space to cook up a delicious meal to be shared at the dining area with views from the windows. The white cupboards and units are a refreshing backdrop and compliment the interior of the space effortlessly and are fitted with a washing machine and dishwasher, Neff double oven and full size fridge and freezer .

There are two double bedrooms within the apartment. The master has a wonderful super king size bed, ensuring guests have a truly relaxing nights sleep and a beautiful en-suite shower and bathroom, with WC and heated towel rail. A space for guests to unwind and relax before getting into bed.

The second bedroom has a lovely, modern nautical theme. There are two single beds which can be linked together to form a further Super king if required.

Located next to the front door of this apartment is another shower room complete with a bath with shower over.

Gylly Sunrise is in a prime location, just a ten-minute stroll and guests will find themselves in Falmouth town centre, complete with an array of boutique shops and restaurants.

Falmouth has excellent travel connections to Truro via train, with stations at the docks and the town centre. Or guests could jump aboard the sea ferry and spend a day exploring the nearby fishing villages of Flushing and St Mawes. If a more action-packed holiday is on the cards, then the nearby Gylly beach, or Gyllyngvase Beach as its formally known, has a wide selection of water sports activities to keep guests entertained, and Queen Mary Gardens is a wonderful sub-tropical haven.

Gylly Sunrise comes with one allocated parking space just outside the apartment block. We should also mention that access is at the rear of the building and so no need for a lift or stairs.

Unfortunately we’re unable to accommodate children under 5 years of age at this property.

 

 

Accessibility

It is roughly 50 paces to the main door of the building including 12 slate steps, which you can avoid by leaving from the car entrance and loop around to the left where there is a path directly to the main door. To find these you simply face the building from your car space and follow it around to the right.  Once at the main apartment door there are no further steps to Gylly Sunrise

This apartment couldn’t be better located. Gylly Beach is literally on the doorstep, with cafés, water sports and beautiful coastal walks all close by. The walk into Falmouth town centre was easy and scenic. Inside, the apartment was spotless, well equipped and felt very calm and spacious. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed.

This place is special. Falling asleep to the sound of the sea and waking up to that view was incredible. The apartment is stylish, comfortable and very thoughtfully designed. We loved being able to walk to Gylly Café in the morning and into town in the evening. It felt like a luxury coastal escape without being over the top.
