Byron’s retreat is a modern first floor apartment set on this location with captivating views over the bustling harbour of Falmouth and across to Flushing in the distance. All of which can be admired from every room within the property. The property has been built to keep these views as a dramatic backdrop, all of which are framed perfectly by large windows. For instance the open plan living and dining area features dual aspect windows and doors that lead out to a wrap around balcony. No matter what the occasion, need there be one, be sure to relax and indulge in this beautiful apartment and get lost amongst the ever changing views over the harbour.

Upon entering the apartment, and following the spacious hallway that leads to all rooms within the property, the open plan living, dining and kitchen area are a warm welcome. The wooden flooring makes this whole space feel cosy and there is an electric stove mounted on the wall for those cooler nights in. Sit back and relax on the sofa after a busy day sampling what Falmouth has to offer and download a movie on the flat screen T.V. The dining area, set behind the sofa is positioned to take in the amazing views, or throw open the double doors and dine alfresco watching the boats bob on the water from the large, wrap around balcony. A sunny, private spot perfect for enjoying a romantic glass of wine. From here, the Maritime Museum can easily be seen which is a great day out for all the family. The stylish kitchen area can be accessed through an arch way from the sitting room and continues the modern interior. The pale blue kitchen units compliment the wonderful blues that can be seen on the boats and the water from the window and the neutral stone flooring reflect the light in the space.

Be sure to get a good nights rest on the super king size bed in the master suite. This room is set towards the back of the property and therefore captures another angle of the harbour views. There are three large fitted wardrobes and a dresser for ample storage space and this room also boasts a calming, neutral ensuite shower room. The second bedroom features zip-link beds, allowing you to create a king-size bed, or twin singles: whatever your group requires. The family bathroom is opposite the second bedroom where a bath with over head shower can be found and a heated towel rail.

Byron’s Retreat is a beautifully modern apartment set in an amazing location. Just take a short stroll to Events Square where the famous oyster festival takes place in October each year. Or head to Rick Stein’s for champagne and oyster’s or possibly a warming fish and chips to take back to the balcony. With one of the deepest natural harbours on the doorstep, Falmouth Harbour, guests can easily take to the water, with a fantastic range of ways to explore the breathtaking surroundings; with private boat hire, canoe rental and sailing lessons and trips. Stand-up paddle boards also provide a fun way to enjoy this area of outstanding natural beauty.
