Nightingale Mews is a two bedroom, modern property located in the centre of Falmouth. This stunning property is light and bright, and its neutral decor provides a tranquil and restful space to enjoy.

The exterior of Nightingale Mews is exquisite with four individual sets of double doors opening out onto the beautifully landscaped garden. The main living area is positioned in the centre of the property and once inside, guests are greeted with a bright and neutral living space. A large, comfortable sofa and two armchairs, with nautical blue and white stripes, are an excellent spot for guests to relax and put their feet up.

On a warm summer day, guests can throw open the doors and enjoy a moment to relax in the sun, enjoying the peace and quiet of their surroundings. There is a TV should guests wish to enjoy a quiet night in and spend some together enjoying a favourite film or show. The vaulted ceiling in this space is an elegant touch and adds character and space to the room.

The kitchen is positioned behind the living room and is a cosy and charming space for guests to enjoy some time cooking with fresh local ingredients. However, with an abundance of restaurants and the famous Rick Stein’s right on the doorstep, guests may be tempted to treat themselves to a night or two off cooking!

Should guests wish to enjoy more of the summer sun, then they can enjoy their delicious meals outside on the patio area. Complete with outdoor and table and chairs, this walled garden is the perfect spot to enjoy some evening sun, sharing a cold bottle of wine and some quality time together. The lawn area provides a perfect spot for guests travelling with children, to burn off some steam within a safe distance from the property. One small well behaved dog is welcome.

The bedrooms are posted at either end of the property and each come with an en-suite bathroom and flat screen TV. Both bedrooms are an excellent size and each have a set of double doors leading to the front garden. White cast iron beds and ornate furniture add an opulent and romantic touch to the room and guests can enjoy plenty of restful nights in the crisp, 100% Egyptian cotton bed linen. The master bedroom features a super king size bed which can be converted into twin singles if required while the second bed is a double. The en-suite bathrooms are equally as impressive with a bath and overhead shower in one and large walk in shower in the other. The decor of the house flows into these spaces with floor to ceiling neutral tiles and white suites.

Parking for Nightingale Mews is at The Dell car park which is approximately 7 minutes walk – luggage can be dropped off at the house by car upon arrival.

Nightingale Mews is the ideal property for a small group of guests to enjoy a well-deserved break. However, there is the opportunity for a larger gathering of up to twelve guests by also renting Nightingale House. A stunning, three storey property boasting impressive waterside views.

With Falmouth town centre right on the doorstep, there’s plenty to see and do. Just take a short stroll to Events Square where the famous oyster festival takes place in October each year. Or head to Rick Stein’s for champagne and oysters. Falmouth has an abundance of boutique shops, art galleries and restaurants and the famous Maritime Museum. With one of the deepest natural harbours on the doorstep, Falmouth Harbour, guests can easily take to the water, with a fantastic range of ways to explore the beautiful surroundings; with private boat hire, canoe rental and sailing lessons and trips. Stand-up paddle boards also provide a fun way to enjoy this area of outstanding natural beauty. Falmouth has amazing links to the surrounding fishing villages via water ferry. Guests can take a day trip to St Mawes or Flushing, two beautifully quintessential Cornish villages with stunning views over the water. Guests could alternatively, hop on the train from the town centre station and explore Truro, Cornwall’s capital city, where a further array of shops awaits.
