Description

Located in a recently built, super modern development with views overlooking Falmouth Marina, Monterey is the perfect retreat for up to four guests, to escape, relax and unwind in five-star luxury complete with large garage.

The architecture of the Slipway building is exquisite, and the structural glass walls and large windows allow guests to relax with a view like no other! This first floor apartment, complete with a spacious balcony and two bathrooms, is a luxurious retreat and one not to be forgotten.

Stepping into the apartment, guests are instantly invited into a super modern and luxurious space. The main living area of the apartment is an open plan space combining a kitchen, dining and living zones, all of which have the wonderful balcony and views as a focal point. The living area is positioned at the rear of the space where guests can truly enjoy an evening relaxing on the sofa or outside on the balcony, watching the sun set behind the water.

Should you wish to relax with a good book or even catch up on work there is a useful snug / study area with a cuddle chair and desk.

The kitchen is at the front of the apartment and is in keeping with the art deco theme of the property. Clean, modern cabinets are framed with a dark wood worktop and splash back, making this space really unique. The breakfast bar is the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee, and adds a social element for nights spent in cooking for loved ones. The kitchen comes complete with electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washer / dryer, providing all of the essential home comforts for a relaxing break away.

The two bedrooms and bathrooms can be found towards the front of the apartment. The master bedroom is spacious and calming, with a super king size bed that promises guests a relaxing nights sleep. This bedroom also makes use of an ensuite shower room, with a large walk-in shower so guests can begin the day feeling refreshed and awake! The underfloor heating and heated towel rail add an extra touch of luxury when stepping out of the shower.

The second bedroom features twin full sized single beds which can be made up to a super-king-sized double if preferred.

The family bathroom is easily accessible from the second bedroom and features a bath with overhead shower. This room is modern and contemporary, with floor to ceiling tiles and a large mirror. It’s a cosy and relaxing space for guests to run a hot bath and relax after a long day spent exploring.

Monterey has underfloor heated oak flooring throughout and Fibre broadband.

Located just a few steps away is Falmouth Marina, with The Upper Deck restaurant and also the Greenbank Hotel and The Working Boat Pub situated below, where guests can enjoy a pint or a glass of wine with enchanting views over the water – the perfect place to watch the boats passing by. Continue walking along the water (around 15 minutes) and you will approach Falmouth High Street, where there is an abundance of local pubs and restaurants, all ideal spots for a quick lunch or romantic meal – Falmouth has so much to offer that guests will never be stuck for something to do. There are plenty of boutique shops and art galleries, and a selection of historical attractions such as the Maritime Museum and Pendennis Castle. The surrounding fishing villages of Flushing and St Mawes are easily accessible from the Prince of Wales Pier, where a ferry boat provides a picturesque journey across the dividing water.
