Sea Breeze

Sea Breeze is a fantastic property for a small family or group of friends to get together and experience a slice of Cornish life. This fabulous house has everything guests will need to truly relax and escape everyday life, and the beautiful interiors are perfect for a tranquil and cosy retreat.

The surrounding neighbourhood is quiet, and yet a five-minute stroll enables guests to be at Events Square where a selection of restaurants and bars await. Approaching the property, guests benefit from a private parking space on the front drive.

The entrance hall leads guests to the left of the property and into the spacious, open-plan living, dining and kitchen areas. Double doors that lead onto a terraced seating area in the garden flood the room with natural light, making it a refreshing and calming space. Two comfortable sofas are positioned in the centre of the room and frame a coffee table and wall-mounted TV. Relaxing evenings indoors catching up on favourite shows or a classic movie can be enjoyed here, and as the evening draws in guests can close the curtains and rely on the floor lamps for a cosy and warm atmosphere.

If dining at one of Falmouth’s many restaurants isn’t on the menu, then the modern kitchen area has everything guests will need to serve up a delicious meal. The contemporary style cabinets and gloss black worktop create a slick and stylish space, in keeping with the feel of the room. There is an electric oven and hob, a large fridge freezer, microwave and even a wine fridge, so quiet nights in are covered. And with so much fresh local produce right on the doorstep, guests will find it hard to resist experimenting with flavours and ingredients for an equally memorable night in!

Should guests wish to enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner or a family breakfast, the large dining table provides ample space for everyone to gather together and spend some quality time. With the terrace doors providing the backdrop for any meal, guests can either experience a refreshing breakfast pastry or a stunning sunset meal.

The outdoor terrace is a delightful place to enjoy an evening drink as the sun goes down. Guests can put their feet up after a long day exploring Falmouth and its local beaches, reclining in the comfortable outdoor chairs. Stepping down is a quaint grassed garden, where guests travelling with young children can enjoy some family fun together. Tall bamboo grasses and palm trees frame the space, adding texture and colour.

The ground floor also offers a convenient downstairs WC which is light and modern.

Guests will find a spacious master bedroom on the first floor of the property offering a serene and tranquil space to retreat to at the end of the day. This room is full of texture and soothing tones with warm whites, soft neutrals and white-washed wood. The king-sized bed is ready with fresh white bed linen, perfect for guests who want to take a well-deserved lie-in. The window has pretty views overlooking the garden, and there is ample storage space for guests’ belongings.

The second bedroom has twin single beds, and mirrors the restful interior of the master. This equally light and airy room is a wonderful place to rest and recharge, ahead of a day at the beach.

The family bathroom is located at the top of the stairs and is easily accessible from both bedrooms. Contemporary floor to ceiling tiles and a large mirror create a spacious feel, and the modern suite is in keeping with the style of the property. The bath is fitted with an overhead shower so guests have a choice of how to freshen up before heading out on the town for an evening. There is also a WC and handbasin.

With Falmouth town centre right on the doorstep, there’s plenty to see and do. Guests can just take a short stroll to Events Square where the famous oyster festival takes place in October each year.  Falmouth has an abundance of boutique shops, art galleries and restaurants and the famous Maritime Museum.

With one of the deepest natural harbours on the doorstep, Falmouth Harbour, guests can easily take to the water, with a fantastic range of ways to explore the surroundings; with private boat hire, canoe rental and sailing lessons and trips. Stand-up paddleboards also provide a fun way to enjoy this area of outstanding natural beauty.

Local sea ferries run frequently from the piers within the town centre and provide guests with the prospect of a day out in the surrounding neighbouring villages of Flushing and St Mawes. Falmouth also boasts excellent transport links with a regular train departing for the Cornish capital of Truro. Just a two-minute walk from the rear of the property is the nearest platform and once in the capital, guests can then explore Cornwall further.
