Trengilley is located just yards away from the beach in the grounds of The Falmouth Hotel. It sleeps 4 in two comfortable bedrooms with reserved parking and is a short walk to Events Square and Falmouth Town Centre.

You will find Trengilley nestled away in the grounds of The Falmouth hotel. With the beach just a few steps away and private parking, Trengilley’s charm is matched only by its convenience. For small groups of friends or families looking to have a great time in Cornwall with minimal fuss, Trengilley offers the perfect package.

From the moment you pull up outside and see the classically styled street lamps and the verdant planters, you know to expect a quaint and cosy interior waiting for you. Trengilley does not disappoint, offering a light and airy living space that cannot fail to instantly make you feel at home.

Located on the first floor,  guests arrive to find a beautifully appointed hallway, complete with wooden floor, which takes you through to the comfortable living space. Here you will find ample seating, arranged around a coffee table and facing a large flatscreen television. Catching up on your favourite shows will be easy with Freeview TV, and the additional BT sports channels ensure you don’t miss a game. Another wonderful benefit of this seating area are the views of the sea!

Also in the living area is a generous dining table, affording you a perfect place to sit and plan the day. There are many fantastic restaurants in nearby Falmouth, but being in a county with such a strong agricultural connection, it would be a shame to miss out on the chance to prepare your favourite meals with some amazing local produce. Doing so allows you to take full advantage of the crisp and delightful kitchen, which features bold wooden cabinets and soft-coloured granite worktops. As well as a Neff oven, a hob, microwave, fridge and freezer, you’ll also find a handy washing machine and tumble dryer – useful in the event that someone drops ice cream on themselves!

The beautiful master bedroom is tastefully decorated to provide an oasis of calm in which you can relax and recharge your energy for another busy day enjoying yourself. You’ll find it extra easy to unwind and get a good night’s sleep thanks to the super king-size bed. There’s plenty of storage in the form of a wardrobe, a dresser, and twin bed side tables, meaning you can unpack and feel at home rather than living out of a suitcase. There’s also a flatscreen television, so there’s no incentive to get up early in the morning unless you feel like it.

The ample second bedroom features twin beds which can be made into a second super king-size bed for couples or a single guest. There’s plenty of storage in here as well, and a flatscreen television to ensure everybody can catch up on their favourite programs, rather than fighting over the remote control in the lounge!

The family bathroom is fresh, clean, and filled with light. It’s fitted with a beautiful suite comprising WC, hand basin, and a generous walk-in shower.

With the town of Falmouth just a few minutes’ walk away, you won’t have any trouble keeping yourself occupied during your stay in Cornwall. The train station is right nearby, offering an easy connection to Truro and from there the rest of Cornwall, so if you don’t feel like driving you won’t be at a disadvantage if you leave the car back at home. As well as the trains, there are regular buses, and numerous passenger ferries that can take you up or down the river to some great Cornish destinations. Of course, Falmouth itself has plenty to offer, not least the blue Flag Gyllyngvase beach, which is just a few steps away from your front door.

Our family has stayed in a number of self catering properties over the years, but we reckoned this was one of the nicest. The pictures on the website are a true reflection of how pretty it is inside and there is a wonderful view of the sea from the living room. Everything has been taken into consideration, from the handwash left at each sink (first time that has happened) to the washing up liquid, foil and cloths in the kitchen.  We were most impressed with the enormous smart TV too! The beds were very comfy and everything was really nicely fitted out so it was a great place to come back to after a busy day.
Best of all is the location, which really needs shouting about. The apartment is overlooking the sea, in the well kept grounds of the Falmouth hotel and it is two minutes to the beach. It is also very close to Pendennis castle which is well worth a visit. In addition it is also only ten minutes walk into town with all it’s shops and restaurants. We felt the location would be hard to beat in a town like Falmouth, with it’s parking difficulties right in the centre- we felt quite smug having a parking space right outside where we were staying!
