The Pier Penthouse is a unique, two storey property that offers unforgettable sea views and a fabulous location. Located in the heart of the popular harbour town of Falmouth, guests will find and abundance of opportunities on their doorstep. With two bedrooms, a large open plan living space and two stunning balconies, this stylish property promises a memorable Cornish break.

This bright spacious apartment is located on the second floor and reached via a lift or 4 flights of stairs.  It comes with an allocated parking space located behind secure electronic gates within the development and just adjacent to the lift.

The large, glass framed balcony on the doorstep, it’s hard to ignore the stunning water views this penthouse has to offer and with a table and chairs positioned ready to enjoy them, guests are instantly excited to begin their getaway. This property is laid out with the main living space located on the first floor, enabling those stunning views to be enjoyed from the heart of the home. Once upstairs, guests are greeted by a large, contemporary space with bright white walls and wooden flooring. This room is a long and has been cleverly divided into three separate areas.

The lounge area is in the centre of the room and two, good size sofas surround a coffee table and SMART TV. The stylish furniture within this room makes a modern and contemporary space and the double doors leading onto the second balcony provide a stunning backdrop. the dark blue sofas contrast the bright decor and create a cosy space for guests to put their feet up in front of a good movie. Guests can always choose to enjoy a warm summer evening relaxing on the balcony and soaking in the stunning views overlooking the Prince of Wales Pier. Two comfortable chairs and a table with a further set of chairs, means guests can enjoy a cold glass of wine or an evening meal alfresco. If a more romantic evening is desired then this property offers guests a night before the stars.

The kitchen is slick and stylish and poses as a tempting space to enjoy some time cooking a delicious meal for loved ones. Gloss, white units are complimented beautifully by a solid woo worktop and there’s everything guests need to have a go experimenting with some of the fresh local produce and also complete with integrated dishwasher, fridge, and washer and dryer.

A large table and four chairs are positioned in front of the kitchen and make for a beautiful spot to enjoy a refreshing breakfast or cosy evening meal. The large bay window, complete with window seating, is a stunning backdrop and guests can enjoy an evening meal and watch as the goes down. Throughout this space the clever use of different tones of blue are a really subtle hint of the nautical setting of the property, all the while maintaining is fresh and contemporary style.

Back on the ground floor, guests will enjoy a relaxing night sleep in either of the two bedrooms. The master bedroom is bright and modern, with calming blues and greys adding texture and style. Twin bedside tables and lamps provide not only practical storage space, but also create a cosy and relaxing atmosphere in the evenings. Once the sun’s up, guests can take their time to wake up, looking through each of the four windows and soaking in the sea views whilst the gentle sound of the water lapping below is a welcome morning song. The master bedroom also features a large chest of drawers so guests can spare away their belongings. The ensuite shower room is equally stylish with contemporary floor to ceiling tiles and an enticing walk in shower. An ideal way to freshen up in the morning before the adventures of the day ahead. There is also a WC and hand basin.

Bedroom two is an excellent size and light floods the room through the sliding balcony doors. This room is ideal to enjoy a comfortable night sleep on the double bed before stepping outside to sip a morning coffee as the boats arrive in the harbour. A good size built in wardrobe provides storage space for belongings.

The family bathroom is also located on the ground floor and offers guests the option of a relaxing hot bath or a refreshing shower using the overhead attachment. The decor is styled to match the ensuite, therefore is bright and contemporary. The sandstone tiles add texture and an element of warmth to the room, so laying back in the hot water is an experience to enjoy!

Falmouth has an excellent array of boutique shops and restaurants to enjoy taking a slow, morning stroll through. With plenty of cafe’s lining the pretty harbour streets, stopping for breakfast is a must! In the evening, guests can sample a romantic meal at Rick Stein’s seafood restaurant located in events square and then enjoy a stroll along the coastal path, or simply head over to Gylly Cafe on Gyllyngvase beach and enjoy a meal alfresco, making the most of the sea views. From here there is plenty to keep guests occupied, should they prefer a more action packed get away. Paddleboarding, surfing and kayaking are to name but a few of the water sports available to hire from Gylly beach and the stunning coastal view will not fail to impress. Falmouth has excellent travel connections to Truro via train, with stations at the docks and the town centre. Or guests could jump aboard the sea ferry and spend a day exploring the nearby fishing villages of Flushing and St Mawes. If a more action-packed holiday is on the cards, then the nearby Gylly beach, or Gyllyngvase Beach as its formally known, has a wide selection of water sports activities to keep guests entertained, and Queen Mary Gardens is a wonderful sub-tropical haven.

Whatever the holiday, guests can be sure that a stay at The Pier Penthouse is an amazing property to call home for the duration of the stay!

The convenient town centre location does mean that on occasion some background noise may be audible.
