Ebb and Flow is a spacious, contemporary apartment positioned along the rivers edge in Penryn. As part of a modern complex, the property has everything guests will need to the some time away and relax by the water.

Entering into the apartment, guests are greeted with a large entrance room complete with a built in cupboard space, ideal for storing away any belongings. Stepping further into the property, a second hallway provides access to all the rooms of the apartment. Here, cool, calming blues and crisp whites offer a welcoming invite to the space.

The main living space is located on the right of the property and is accessed via double doors. This large space, including living room, dining area and kitchen is bright and fresh. The neutral decor creates a calm and tranquil space and the subtle nautical elements are a gentle reminder of the stunning location. The living area comprises of two comfortable sofas and creates a relaxing social space. This is the perfect space to gather together on a cooler evening and curl up infant of a favourite film or TV show on the flatscreen TV. There are three large windows that flood this room with natural light and frame the stunning views of the river.

The dining area is positioned in front of the third window and therefore boasts a stunning backdrop to any morning breakfast or evening meal. Complete with a large wooden table and four chairs, there’s plenty of room for everyone to gather together and sample delicious local produce. However, if the weather is too good to resist the private balcony is an ideal spot to take a moment and enjoy some fresh Cornish air, with a large beer or morning coffee.

The kitchen also has views overt the river and the fourth large window floods this area with more natural light. The kitchen itself is clean and contemporary. Dark wood units and a black granite worktop create this modern space and here, guests will find everything they need to enjoy a break from home including an oven with a gas hob, a large fridge and freezer, dishwasher and microwave. There’s also a washing machine and tumble dryer, and a Nespresso coffee machine so guests have all the home from home comforts. However, is a cosy night in is not on the cards, then guests can take a two minute stroll down to jubilee wharf where Muddy Beach Cafe offers a divine tapas menu and stunning water views.

Stepping back through the bright hallway is the master bedroom complete with a stunning ensuite shower room. This room is decorated in cool and calming blues, with a continuation of the nautical theme. A feature wall of sail boats on a deep blue background, create a stunning backdrop and give the room a cosy feel. The king size bed is a welcoming feature and guests are sure to enjoy a relaxing nights sleep, curled up in the crisp white bed linen. There are twin bedside tables, a large chest of drawers and a generous built in wardrobe that offer ample storage space for guests to hideaway their luggage. The ensuite shower room is truly an element of luxury. Here, warm and neutral tiling is combined with a bright white suite to continue the contemporary theme and the walk in shower provides somewhere for guests to relax at the end of a long day. There is also a WC and hand basin.

The second bedroom features another king size bed which can be divided into twin singles if needed. This room is a tranquil haven for guests to spend some time relaxing and rejuvenating. Dark greys and varying tones of blues add depth and style to this room and the large window enables this space to be bright and inviting. Twin wardrobes and a a set of drawers provide storage space.

The family bathroom is finished to an equal standard as the ensuite. Decorated in matching tiling and with a bath and overhead shower, there is something for everyone. There is also a WC and hand basin.

Ebb and Flow is just a short walk from the centre of Penryn, with a selection of local shops and pubs. Guests can take a short drive over to Falmouth where there is an array of wonderful restaurants, galleries and shops. With one of the deepest natural harbours, Falmouth Harbour, guests can easily take to the water, with a fantastic range of ways to explore the breathtaking surroundings; with private boat hire, canoe rental and sailing lessons and trips. Stand-up paddle boards also provide a fun way to enjoy this area of outstanding natural beauty. With two local beaches, the National Maritime Museum and Pendennis Castle all within walking distance of the town’s centre, there’s something to entertain everyone. There are also excellent transport links to Truro and ferries over to the quaint harbour towns of St Mawes and Flushing.
