If you’re looking for the perfect base from which to explore Cornwall – then Chi Lowen will provide it. This spacious, well-maintained and tastefully decorated family home comfortably sleeps six and  offers ideal accommodation with two king-size bedrooms, one twin single room, two bathrooms, and an allocated parking space.

From the parking space are 18 steps down to the house where guests will feel at home in the open-plan kitchen/living/dining room. The kitchen is a well equipped, with integrated Neff and AEG appliances, including dishwasher, washer-drier, double fan assisted oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge, and freezer. The dining area is furnished with a solid oak table and chairs ideal to enjoy some fresh Cornish produce!

The lounge area is light, bright and comfortably seats 6 and has a TV, DVD and media player, WIFI and a sonos music player. There are full width bi-fold doors opening onto the south-east facing garden, a delightful place to enjoy an evening drink as the sun goes down. Guests can put their feet up after a long day exploring Falmouth and its local beaches, reclining in the comfortable outdoor chairs. 2 steps down is a small landscaped coastal garden.

The ground floor also offers a convenient downstairs WC which is light and modern. 

On the first floor, there is a large rear facing double room with king size bed and TV with views over the town and harbour towards St Mawes and the Carrick Roads.  As well as a twin bedroom with views across the harbour to Flushing. The family bathroom is located here and is easily accessible from both bedrooms.  This bright room has a bath and is fitted with an overhead electric shower so guests have a choice of how to freshen up before heading out on the town for an evening. There is also a WC and handbasin.

Guests will find a spacious master bedroom on the top floor of the property offering a serene and tranquil space to retreat to at the end of the day. The king-sized bed is ready with fresh white bed linen, perfect for guests who want to take a well-deserved lie-in. The window has stunning views overlooking the harbour, and there is ample storage space for guests’ belongings. This room has a TV, and an en-suite shower room.  

All towels and bed-linen are provided and the house has full central-heating. For those of you with babies or small children a high-chair and cot are available. Guests are welcome to use the fishing nets, crab fishing lines and body boards, located in the outdoor storage box. 

The house is perfectly situated for enjoying the delights of Falmouth and a few minutes’ walk, there’s plenty to see and do. Falmouth has an abundance of boutique shops, art galleries and restaurants and the famous Maritime Museum located in Events Square where the famous oyster festival takes place in October each year.

With one of the deepest natural harbours on the doorstep, Falmouth Harbour, guests can easily take to the water, with a fantastic range of ways to explore the surroundings; with private boat hire, canoe rental and sailing lessons and trips. Stand-up paddleboards also provide a fun way to enjoy this area of outstanding natural beauty.

Local sea ferries run frequently from the piers within the town centre and provide guests with the prospect of a day out in the surrounding neighbouring villages of Flushing and St Mawes. Falmouth also boasts excellent transport links with a regular train departing for the Cornish capital of Truro.

Walkers will be pleased to know that there are a variety of coastal paths to suit all ages and enthusiasms, whilst the par 72 Falmouth Golf Club offers golfers of all abilities a splendid test of golf as well as beautiful views of Falmouth Bay.
